Dinner for Eight 2018/2019: Dinner for Eight is a social activity designed to get people more familiar with their fellow Saint John’s parishioners. Four couples, or a mixture of couples and singles are placed in a group of eight where they spend at least four evenings together over the course of a year. One couple/person hosts an evening and provides the main course. Other couples/people provide appetizers, side dishes, and dessert. At the next gathering, a new couple/person hosts, with the others providing something different from the previous gathering. This rotates through the group until everyone has hosted at least once during the year. If you are interested in joining this dinner club, please contact the office or Father Todd no later than September 21st. The dinners will start in October.

Saint John’s Day Celebration – Mark your calendar for next Sunday. Plan to come and worship together, call a family you haven't seen in church lately, a neighbor, or friend, and welcome them to join us and encourage them to participate in the day's activities. Maybe - ...to come away this day having learned something new about our patron saint, Saint John – the Evangelist, or something more about ourselves? Who was Saint John? How did he live his life? Are there ways we hadn’t thought about to serve in ministry today? Please come, and plan to stay for lunch after the 10:15 service (a free-will offering will be appreciated). Parish Life will provide our lunch: hamburger and fish sandwich sliders, Mediterranean salad, dessert(s) and drink. Come and join in the Saint John’s Day festivities planned for this date!
