Youth Ministries Breakfast: Today we have our Youth Ministries breakfast at 9:00 a.m.
Adult Forum: There will be no adult forum today. The current series will conclude next week, with the topic “When Jesus Became God”. Adult forum will recess for the summer and begin again in September.
Weekday Liturgies The congregation is invited to attend Evening Prayer on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the Church; and the midweek Eucharist held on Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. in Saint Mary’s Chapel.
Memorial Donation: Saint John’s will be collecting memorial donations in memory of William Howard Dunkin, son of Sandy Dunkin our long time sexton. Donations will be received through May and used to assist with funeral expenses. If you would like to make a donation please note “Dunkin Memorial” on your check.
Vacation Bible School: Volunteers wanted! St. John's Parish will offer Vacation Bible School this summer from Sunday, July 16 through Wednesday, July 19. Our theme for 2017 is Year 2 of Abundance Orchard, with stories from the Gospels. We are looking for adult and teen helpers for a variety of roles. Calling All Graduates: We at Saint John’s would like to recognize all of our parishioners graduating from high school or college as well as those who will be graduating from elementary or middle school. We would like to have you send us a picture to place on the Antietam Street bulletin board along with a paragraph of your future plans, awards you have received, or goals you have set for the coming years. Stewardship: Christian stewardship at Saint Johns is a way of life. The cards in the pews and throughout the church encompass more than money. Please use one to indicate where you are willing to offer your talents and time in gratitude of God's love.
