Fourth Sunday of Easter
Christian Education: Saint John’s offers Christian Education for youth on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. Classes for children ages 4 through high school meet in the classrooms above Trimble Hall. New participants are always welcome.
Service and Outreach is running a Summer Clothing Drive. All clothing will be made available to May Community Café Patrons and to Bester Community of Hope. Clothing donations should be new or gently worn, clean, spot-free and ready to wear. Donated summer clothing can be dropped off in boxes in Trimble Hall prior to May 24. Thank you for supporting this ministry!
Our Parish Picnic will take place on Sunday, June 2nd at the Leitersburg Ruritan Park. Parish Life will provide fried chicken, plates, utensils, and drinks (lemonade and water). A sign up sheet will be placed on the COFFEE TABLE during Fellowship Hour. Please sign up and let us know how many people in your family will attend. Pray for good weather! We will also celebrate Strawberry Sunday this day. Anyone willing to help provide ice cream, strawberries and toppings for Strawberry Sunday, please write it on the Sign Up Sheet. THANK YOU!!!
Mayfest Mystery Trip Stop #4: Visit Trimble Hall Depot to let your taste buds choose your dinner destinations of which there are 10. Each destination will provide a unique menu prepared by a mystery chef for a table of 8. ($75 per person) Full tables of 8 will be sold May 26 at 9:15. Get your group together now! Individual choice of table sales will begin June 2. Tickets will be hot!
HARC Hike for Hunger and Hope: Saturday, June 8 on the C&O Canal towpath. Youth team discounts, photo and nature scavenger hunts for children.
